Welcome to our fall online sale. We have put together a tremendous set of prospect calves and bred heifers for your appraisal. In 2010, we raised the champion steer at the Ohio State Fair. It was out of Heat Wave and our 439 Foreplay cow. There are 4 full sib heifers to that steer on this sale. It is a great time to be involved in agriculture and I feel these cattle will get out and work for you. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call anytime.
I would like to thank Jim Schultz as co-owner of the 439 Foreplay cow, Monte Moss as a continued partner and Jensen Farms, Andy Jensen as a cooperator herd. Also, special thanks to Derek Vogt for all of his help.
THANK YOU for the interest in our cattle.
The prospect calves are all halter broke and have been washed and clipped and act real good. They have had 2 rounds of shots in the fall and have been wormed. There are different sizes and weights, for different shows. Many of the heifers have great cow-backing and should make great cows after their show career is over.
The bred heifers are very maternally- bred. All should be TH and PHA free by pedigree, bred to easy calving bulls.
The vet called them as good as he could, but there are no guarantees on the AI’d ones. The mothers of these cows are excellent and good uddered. A very functional set of bred heifers, right from the replacement pen. There is a lot of future and longevity in this set of heifers
Thanks Again,
Rick Schultz
